First Post!

Hi blogging world!

This is officially my first blog post! Since giving up Facebook for the year as a spiritual discipline (2 months down!!) I have become intrigued by the blogging world and have decided to start one of my own!

Through some inspiration from some friends and fellow bloggers I have decided that an effective way to kick off my blog would be to do a photo-a-day blog for the next year. I am going to start this on my 20th birthday, March 30. I am really excited to see where this adventure will take me and to share a picture from my life with you each day!

I have been on Spring Break since yesterday and am loving every second of it! Tonight around 9pm I will be leaving with around 90 other JMU students to meet up with other students across the country to serve the Lord in Panama City Beach, FL for the week! I am so excited to see what God will be teaching me and how he will use me through this experience! So, if you have a chance to keep me and the other JMU students in your prayers I would really appreciate it!
