Anticipation

I'm at a point in life right now where I feel as though there is so much on the horizon. I am trying to live in the moment and enjoy life for the here and now, but there is so much in the near future that I am anticipating.

Tomorrow I will be spending the afternoon in West Virginia with my grandparents and cousins visiting my great grandmother, Great Mama. She is one of the most special people in the world to me and it has been a very long time since i have seen her so I can't wait. It will also be fun to be there with my grandparents and cousins. My cousins are the ones I nannied for last summer so we have a lot of good times and it is always fun to be reunited with them.

Friday after nannying in Harrisonburg, I will be hitting the road for North Carolina to spend Easter with my other grandparents. I am greatly looking forward to a relaxing weekend to enjoy their company and to gear up for the final push of school.

Next week will be my last week of classes and then finals begin for me next Saturday, and then it's
S-U-M-M-E-R!

On my drive home for the summer I will be spending time with one of my best friends, Bri, in New Jersey which will be much needed and very refreshing.

So, these next few weeks will be filled with excitement and seeing loved ones, I'm pumped!

I also found out last night that I got accepted to become a freshman girl small group leader for next year!! I am so excited for this opportunity. My small group has been such a pivotal part of my college experience and my leaders have had such a huge impact on my life. It is through my small group that I have learned so much about God and seen him work in my life and the lives around me. So I am very happy to be leading a group of my own and to pour into my girls the way my leaders have poured into me, I can't wait to find out who I will be co-leading with!
